Colette Murphy Broadway’s work in real estate led her to make an unplanned purchase of a round house in Racine, Wisconsin. She first saw the house during an office tour and immediately became fascinated with its architecture. That led to her curiosity to learn more about the round houses in Racine and surrounding areas designed by Anton Kratochvil. Her research using newspapers, city records, and interviews with owners or their families has spanned approximately five years and has culminated in this first edition of Round Houses of Anton Kratochvil.
